About the Role:

  • Act as the technical expert for composite manufacturing and assembly processes, including structural integration, system installation, GD&T interpretation, and end-to-end aircraft build sequencing. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Suppliers, design, test, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance with standards, and optimized assembly processes under fast-paced timelines. 
  • Serve as the primary on-site expert for resolving issues across structural, mechanical and integration domains, driving RCCA.  
  • Have a foundational knowledge of electrical integration with a strong intent to grow in cross-functional domains. 
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of critical components and tooling, maintaining traceability as required. 
  • Mentor and guide junior manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering a hands-on, solution-driven culture, driving continuous improvement. 
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date work instructions, assembly fixtures, and value stream maps tailored for low-volume, high-complexity prototype builds, ensuring a balance between quality, efficiency, and safety. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering. 
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in composite manufacturing and assembly in the aerospace sector. 
  • Deep understanding of composite materials, bonding techniques, and aircraft structural integration, fastening. 
  • Proficient in GD&T, CAD tools (preferred NX) ,and PLM systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and certification process. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic prototype environment.
